This is a tutorial for anyone wanting to know more about bokeh, its pretty simple, but in all honesty it is actually simple to make bokeh.

I also wanted to make one.. cos there is no tutorial on deviantart that i could find that actually explained how to make basic bokeh, if you make your own, you can use your OWN stock to edit in bokeh in your own photos, without having to credit someone else.

I didn't mention in the tutorial but you can make bokeh pretty much from anywhere, go outside in a sunny day and take photos of bushes, water, anything and experiment with the lense.

Is the 1.8 in your tutorial the F-number? My lens doesn't go any lower than F3.5, if it is.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I made my shape cover but yet I don't get lights of hearts when I take a picture. I just get a picture of what's in front of me, just with the image being in a heart shape with everything else around being blacked out.
